Terms of service

SEO Uptime (seouptime.com) is run by Danijel Petrovic, Serbia, an individual trading as SEO Uptime. "We" and "us" on this page mean Danijel Petrovic. Write to hello@seouptime.com about anything here.

Our order process is run by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for every order: it sells Pro to you, takes the payment, charges any VAT or sales tax, and handles invoices, refunds and billing questions. Paddle's own buyer terms apply to the purchase.

SEO Uptime crawls the websites you add, checks what it fetched against its rules, and tells you what it found, with the evidence. It reports what it observed when it fetched a page. It does not know what a search engine has indexed, and it makes no promise about rankings or traffic.

• You need an account to use the dashboard. Keep your password and API tokens to yourself.
• An account belongs to a person. Teams belong to their owner, who decides who else is a member.
• You can delete your account in its settings. A team with a Pro subscription that is still renewing has to be cancelled first.

• Add only sites you run, or that you have permission to have crawled.
• Full crawls and monitoring start once you prove a site is yours. Until then a site gets one small crawl a day.
• Our crawler identifies itself, obeys robots.txt and keeps its pace polite. Do not use SEO Uptime to load, probe or test a site you have no right to.
• We may stop crawling a site, or close an account, that is used against somebody else's server.

• Free costs nothing and needs no card.
• Pro costs $19 a month or $190 a year, in US dollars, before any VAT or sales tax. It renews on its own at the end of each period until you cancel.
• Cancel at any time in your team's settings. Pro lasts until the end of the period you paid for, then the team moves to Free.
• On Free, a team keeps its sites. Pro's history stays for another 30 days, then Free keeps 30 days of it. Schedules Free does not include drop to weekly, and the sites beyond Free's count stop being crawled on a schedule.
• Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
• If we change the price, we tell you by email at least 30 days before it applies to you.

What you add and what we find on your sites is yours. We use it to run the service for you and for nothing else. Our privacy notice says what we keep and for how long.

We work to keep SEO Uptime running and accurate, but it is provided as it is, without a guarantee that it will always be available or will catch every problem. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect loss, such as lost traffic, revenue or rankings, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits a right you have that the law says cannot be limited.

We may change these terms. When a change matters to you, we email you before it applies. Using the service after that means you accept the new terms.
