Your team and plan

Invite people, see what each role may do, and move between Free and Pro.

Teams

Sites, alerts and the plan belong to a team. Your account comes with a team of its own, marked Personal. Everyone in a team sees all of its sites and their issues.

To move between teams, click the team's name at the top of the sidebar and pick another. "New team", in the same menu, makes one. Each person can have one team on Free; to make another, move the first to Pro.

Invite people

  1. Click your name, then "Team settings".
  2. Under Members, click "Invite member".
  3. Enter their e-mail address, choose a role, and click "Send invitation".

We e-mail them a link. They sign in, or make an account with that same address, and accept from their dashboard. An invitation lasts three days. Until then it is listed under "Invited", where you can cancel it.

Roles

  • Member: adds sites, runs crawls, hides issues and records fixes.
  • Admin: what a member does, and also changes site settings, deletes sites, renames the team and invites people.
  • Owner: the person who made the team. Only the owner changes roles, removes people, pays for the plan and deletes the team.

People who only need to hear about problems, such as your marketing team, need no account. Add their e-mail address, or a Slack channel, in the site's Settings, under Alerts. Choose who gets alerts explains.

Free and Pro

Both plans have every feature. They differ in size:

  • Price: Free $0; Pro $19 a month, or $190 a year
  • Sites: Free 1; Pro 10
  • Site size we check: Free 500 pages; Pro 10,000 pages
  • Monthly page allowance: Free 5,000; Pro 500,000
  • Whole-site check: Free Weekly; Pro Up to daily
  • Key pages: Free 10; Pro 100
  • Checked after a deploy: Free 20 deploys a month; Pro every deploy
  • History kept: Free 30 days; Pro 12 months

Prices are in US dollars, before tax. Plans and pricing says what each number means.

Your plan and this month's use

Team settings, under Plan, shows what the plan includes and how much of it the team has used this month: sites, pages checked, checks after a deploy, and the plan's limits. Everyone in the team can see it. A month is a calendar month in UTC. Key pages, schedules and limits says what counts.

The Plan panel under Team settings: what the plan includes and how much of it the team used this month.
Team settings → Plan.

Move to Pro

Only the team's owner can pay for it.

  1. Click "Upgrade to Pro" at the top of the dashboard, or go to Team settings, then Plan.
  2. Choose $19 a month or $190 a year, two months free, and click "Get Pro for …".
  3. Pay in the checkout that opens.

Paddle sells Pro for us: it takes the payment, charges any VAT or sales tax, and sends the receipts. Pro starts as soon as Paddle confirms the payment, usually within a minute. The owner finds invoices and "Change card" in the same panel.

Cancel Pro

In Team settings, under Plan, the owner clicks "Cancel Pro", and we ask before anything changes. Pro lasts until the end of what you paid for, and "Keep Pro" undoes the cancelling until then. After that the team moves to Free:

  • its sites and their history stay;
  • Pro's longer history is kept 30 more days, then Free keeps 30 days of it;
  • a schedule Free doesn't offer drops to the most frequent one it does;
  • sites past Free's number stop being watched, as the next part explains.

Refunds says how to ask for your money back.

More sites than the plan covers

After a move to a smaller plan, the plan covers the sites you added first, up to its number. The others are kept, but not monitored: no daily or deploy checks, no alerts and no crawls, and what you see is from their last crawl. Nothing is deleted. Move to a bigger plan, or delete a site to make room.

Delete a team or your account

The owner deletes a team at the bottom of Team settings, by typing its name. Its members lose access at once and its sites stop being watched. Your own Personal team can't be deleted.

To delete your account, click your name, then "Your account", and use "Delete account" on the Profile tab. It takes with it every team only you are in.

Either way, we keep the teams 30 days in case it was a mistake: write to hello@seouptime.com within that time to get them back. A team whose Pro still renews has to be cancelled first.
